An Indoor Smart Parking Algorithm Based on Fingerprinting

In the last few years, researchers from many research fields are investigating problem affecting all drivers in big and populated cities: parking problem. outdoor environments, can be solved by relying on vehicular ad hoc networks, which guarantee communication among vehicles populating network. When it comes to indoor settings, gets harder, since cannot count classic GPS localization. this work, a smart solution for specific setting is provided, exploiting fingerprint approach The considered scenario multi-level car park inside an airport building. algorithm provides vehicle allocation quadratic time over number of slots, also considering driver’s preferences terminal reached.
